Registered Manager CQC Manager required  for an Adults Care home in Basildon Essex.SS14

We are looking for a flexible and versatile experienced CQC Registered Manager who will support our staff team to and ensure compliance, safety and quality. 

Our home 4 bed residential care home that supports people with Autism and complex needs.It was renovated in 2024.

It boasts open communal spaces, sensory room, 2 kitchen and a lovely garden.

Professional Qualifications and Requirements for Registered Manager

  • You will join us with a QCF Level 5 Adult Management Diploma, or equivalent qualification, or be eligible to complete the Level 5 Diploma

  • You will have proven senior leadership or management experience in a care setting supporting adults with autism and complex needs.

  • You will have comprehensive understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, the Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), and person-centred care. 

  • You will be fully aware of CQC rules and regulations.

  • Hold UK Driving Licence

About The Role of Registered Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing care team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.

  • Ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred, outcome-focused care that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.

  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, health and safety legislation, and other relevant statutory frameworks.

  • Prepare for and lead regulatory inspections, implementing improvement plans where required.

  • Promote a strong safeguarding culture and ensure all concerns are managed appropriately.

  • Oversee medication management, incident reporting, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.

  • Recruit, induct, supervise, and develop staff, while managing performance, attendance, and training compliance.

  • Manage staffing levels and participate in the on-call rota to ensure safe and effective service delivery.

  • Monitor budgets, control expenditure, and identify efficiencies while maintaining high standards of care.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with commissioners, local authorities, healthcare professionals, families, advocates, and regulatory bodies.

  • Conduct audits, analyse performance data, and drive continuous service improvement and best practice across the service.

Registered Manager  Salary

£42000-£45000
