Registered Manager / Experienced Deputy Manager – Children’s Home | Stoke-on-Trent

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £60,000 per annum

Qualification: NVQ Level 4/5 in Leadership & Management or relevant equivalent

HTH Solutions Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to join a specialist children’s residential care provider in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced children’s care professional to take responsibility for the management of a residential children’s home, lead and develop a dedicated team, and ensure young people receive the highest standards of care and support.

About the Role

The successful Registered Manager will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the service operates effectively and remains compliant with Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation.

You will play a key role in creating a safe, stable and nurturing environment where young people can develop, thrive and achieve positive outcomes.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager who has:

• Previous management experience within children’s residential care
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance
• Experience managing and developing care teams
• An NVQ Level 4/5 or relevant equivalent qualification
• Experience with safeguarding, care planning and risk management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people

We are also open to considering an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step into a Registered Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management of the children’s home and day-to-day operations
• Ensuring the home remains compliant with Ofsted regulations
• Leading, supporting and developing the staff team
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and care
• Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are maintained to a high standard
• Working closely with social workers, professionals, families and external agencies
• Supporting recruitment, induction and staff development
• Monitoring and improving the quality of care provided
• Promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people
