We are currently supporting the recruitment of an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a small residential home in Derbyshire, providing specialist support for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Salary: £50,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operation of the residential home
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislative requirements
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of support workers and senior staff
  • Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management processes
  • Monitor and review care plans, risk assessments, and support strategies
  • Promote independence, choice, and inclusion for all residents
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the service
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Lead on safeguarding, incidents, complaints, and quality improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Service Manager within Learning Disabilities and/or Autism services
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practices within social care
  • Proven experience leading and developing successful care teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Experience managing residential services and achieving positive outcomes for individuals
  • A person-centred approach and passion for delivering high-quality care
  • Ability to drive service improvement and maintain compliance standards
