The role.As Registered Manager, you will lead all aspects of the home’s operation. You will be visible in the service, decisive in your leadership and committed to getting the best from your team.

You will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering a high-quality service.
  • Leading, coaching and retaining a strong care and clinical team.
  • Ensuring safe staffing, effective rota management and robust clinical governance.
  • Managing occupancy, referrals, budgets and operational performance.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and the local community.
  • Identifying issues early and taking practical action to improve standards.
  • Creating a respectful, accountable and positive workplace culture.
About you.You will be an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in nursing or elderly care. You will understand the balance between outstanding resident care and effective commercial management.
You will bring:
  • Previous Registered Manager experience within a nursing home or elderly care setting.
  • A good understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding, medication management and governance.
  • Experience of improving quality, compliance, occupancy or team performance.
  • A hands-on leadership style and the confidence to hold people to account.
  • Strong communication skills with residents, relatives, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Commercial awareness, including budgets, staffing costs and occupancy.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering dignified, person-centred care.
An active NMC PIN would be beneficial, but is not essential for the right experienced care home leader.
