We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established residential care home in York.
This is a key leadership appointment for a manager who combines strong operational control with a genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
The role.
- Lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, effective and dignified care.
- Maintain CQC compliance, safeguarding standards and robust governance.
- Lead, develop and retain a high-performing care team.
- Manage occupancy, referrals, assessments and admissions.
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, professionals and commissioners.
- Deliver against budget, staffing and operational targets.
- Use audits, action plans and performance data to drive continual improvement.
- Proven Registered Manager experience within elderly residential, nursing or dementia care.
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
- Experience managing occupancy, team performance and home finances.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or working towards it.
- A visible, organised and commercially aware leader with high standards.
- Salary circa £55,000 per annum.
