Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a welcoming, 40-bed residential care home in Hereford. This is an excellent opportunity to build on strong foundations, supporting an experienced team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care for older people.
The Role As Registered Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, maintaining high standards of care, safety and compliance.
- Lead, support and develop a settled, long-standing staffing team.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
- Maintain the home’s consistently strong CQC inspection standards.
- Drive continuous improvement while preserving the positive culture of the home.
- Ensure residents receive dignified care tailored to their individual needs.
- Annual salary of £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.
- An established 40-bed residential service with a consistently strong CQC inspection history.
- A stable, long-standing staffing team.
- Support from an experienced Area Manager and senior leadership team.
- Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
- An experienced Registered Manager within elderly residential or nursing care, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up.
- Qualified to NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Adult Care, or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable about CQC requirements, safeguarding and effective care home management.
- A confident, approachable leader who can motivate a team and maintain a positive working environment.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care for older people.
