Salary: £50,000 per annum + 11% Performance Bonus (paid quarterly)
Service: New 15-Bed Mental Health Residential Service
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead the commissioning and launch of a brand-new 15-bed residential service supporting adults with mental health needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a new service from the ground up. You will play a key role in registration, mobilisation, recruitment, occupancy growth, and establishing a high-quality service with strong foundations and a positive culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the registration, mobilisation, and successful opening of the service.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a new staff team.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and best practice standards.
- Oversee admissions, assessments, and person-centred support planning.
- Build effective relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and referral partners.
- Manage service budgets, resources, and performance targets.
- Implement robust quality assurance, risk management, and safeguarding processes.
- Promote continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care and support.
- Drive occupancy levels and support the long-term success of the service.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to the wider team.
About You
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within Health and Social Care.
- Experience commissioning, opening, or mobilising a new service.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Experience supporting adults with mental health needs.
- Proven leadership, staff management, and recruitment experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience managing budgets and service performance.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to work towards).
- Full UK driving licence.
