Registered Manager to lead the home from the very beginning. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced children’s home manager who wants to be part of something new and make a real difference from day one.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take the lead in establishing, developing and managing the home, ensuring it provides a safe, nurturing and high-quality environment for the young person in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the registration and set-up of the new home
- Recruiting, developing and leading a skilled and passionate team
- Establishing a positive, child-centred culture from day one
- Embedding therapeutic, trauma-informed and inclusive care practices
- Ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, legislation and safeguarding requirements
- Driving high standards of quality, compliance and care
- Supporting the team to achieve the best possible outcomes for the young person
- Building strong relationships with professionals, families and external agencies
About You
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
You will ideally have:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent
- Previous experience managing a registered children’s home
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed care and/or learning disability (LD)-focused care
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations and residential childcare standards
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding care and supporting young people to thrive
