The Role

As Registered Manager you will hold overall responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant delivery of our home care service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the service, including quality assurance, governance, safeguarding and audit systems
  • Recruiting, training, supervising and developing a team of Care Workers and office staff
  • Overseeing client assessments, person-centred care planning and regular reviews
  • Matching Care Workers to clients based on needs, culture, language and location for consistency of care
  • Building strong relationships with clients, families, local authorities, commissioners and healthcare professionals
  • Driving service growth, maintaining high occupancy of care hours, and delivering excellent client outcomes
  • Managing complaints, incidents and continuous improvement
  • Participating in on-call arrangements as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and has:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a domiciliary / home care setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent / willingness to complete)
  • Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act and best practice in community care
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for local travel)
  • A caring, professional and resilient approach

A nursing or clinical background is desirable but not essential.

Why join Caremark (Mid-Surrey)?

  • Opportunity to lead a well-regarded local service with a strong reputation for quality
  • Supportive franchise network with established systems, training and quality frameworks
  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience) + potential bonuses
  • Friendly, values-driven team culture focused on making a real difference
