Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham
Salary: £50,000 per annum + Performance Bonuses
Service: Brand-New 1-Bed EBD Children's Home
Are you an experienced Deputy Manager looking for your first Registered Manager position?
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a brand-new, solo 1-bed children's home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You'll receive the autonomy to establish the service while being supported by an experienced provider operating four children's homes.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead the registration and opening of a new solo EBD home.
- Create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people.
- Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Drive positive outcomes for young people through strong leadership and effective care planning.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, professionals and families.
- Prepare the home to achieve a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to progress into registration, or an existing Registered Manager seeking a new challenge.
You would ideally have:
- Last two years’ experience within an EBD children's residential setting.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to complete if not already achieved.
- Full UK driving licence.
