Are you an experienced and motivated leader in social care seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful difference? We are recruiting a Registered Manager for a residential service in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire. This full-time role offers an excellent chance to lead a dedicated team, ensure compliance with legislation, and deliver high-quality care to individuals with a variety of support needs.

As the Registered Manager in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the service, maintaining high standards, and supporting individuals to retain and develop their independence. You will lead and develop staff, manage rotas, deliver personalised care plans, and build positive relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community.

Key duties include:

• Managing day-to-day operations of the residential service in Pencader, Carmarthenshire.
• Leading, supporting, and developing staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
• Ensuring services are safe, compliant, and aligned with legislation and company policies.
• Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and incident management.
• Engaging with families, professionals, and the local community to promote positive outcomes.
• Driving continuous improvement and supporting staff retention.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with a strong willingness to work towards Level 5.
• Proven experience managing staff within a social care setting.
• A solid understanding of supported living and best practices in residential care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience in writing care plans and conducting risk assessments.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) with Class 1 business insurance.
