Esher · Permanent
Up to £45,000 per annum | Esher | Hybrid working | 36 hours per week
Ready to step away from bedside nursing without leaving your clinical skills behind?
If you’re an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in acute, emergency or critical care, this is an opportunity to take your career in a different direction.
We’re recruiting a Nurse Case Manager for a private international healthcare organisation in Esher. Combining office and home-based working, you’ll use your clinical knowledge to support patients overseas, review complex medical cases and coordinate medical assistance and repatriation.
Previous case management experience isn’t essential. Your clinical judgement, assessment skills and ability to communicate clearly are what matter.
What’s on offer?
- Salary up to £45,000 per annum
- Hybrid working, split between the Esher office and home
- 36-hour working week
- Private healthcare
- Life insurance
- Pension scheme
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Ongoing professional development
Instead of delivering hands-on care, you’ll use your nursing expertise to assess clinical information and help coordinate care for patients receiving treatment overseas.
As a Nurse Case Manager, you’ll:
- Manage a varied caseload of emergency medical assistance cases
- Review clinical reports and treatment information from overseas hospitals
- Use your clinical judgement to identify concerns and escalate complex or urgent cases
- Liaise with patients, consultants, hospitals and overseas healthcare providers
- Coordinate medical assistance and repatriation alongside doctors and specialist teams
- Provide non-diagnostic medical advice to patients and policyholders
- Support airline and occupational health medical services
What we’re looking for
- Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse
- At least three years’ recent clinical nursing experience
- A strong background in acute, emergency or critical care nursing
- Confident clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Clear, reassuring communication, both verbally and in writing
- The ability to manage your own caseload and competing priorities
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems
A background in nurse case management, medical assistance, repatriation, travel health or medical insurance would be welcome, but isn’t essential.
