An international chemical manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead regulatory compliance across its European business and support product registrations in global markets.
Reporting to the US Based Director of Regulatory Affairs & Sustainability, you'll lead the Regulatory Affairs team, oversee complex regulatory projects and play a key role in ensuring products meet UK and EU regulatory requirements while supporting new product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory registration and notification projects across international markets.
- Manage regulatory compliance for paints, resins and raw materials, with a focus on the UK and EU.
- Act as the Regulatory Affairs lead for the European business.
- Interpret and implement changes to BPR, CLP, REACH and Packaging & Packaging Waste legislation.
- Support new product development with expert regulatory guidance.
- Oversee compliant product labelling and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Develop and deliver regulatory training to internal stakeholders.
- Represent the business within industry working groups.
- Lead, coach and develop the Regulatory Affairs team.
You'll have:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Biotechnology or a related scientific discipline.
- 5+ years' Regulatory Affairs experience within the chemical manufacturing or siimlar sectors.
- Strong knowledge of BPR, CLP and REACH regulations.
- Experience interpreting UK and EU chemical legislation.
- Previous leadership or people management experience.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
