We are hiring a Regulatory Compliance Lead to design, implement, and maintain the overarching framework that governs our company-wide statutory and regulatory compliance. In this high-visibility role, you will safeguard our operational integrity, oversee licensing frameworks, and manage critical regulatory engagements.

Main responsibilities:
  • Develop a compliance framework to oversee overall compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks, including industry-specific regulations such as Ofwat and environmental legislation.
  • Support the Regulatory Lawyer to manage and monitor Licence compliance, coordinating appropriate responses to modifications and changes.
  • Provide programme management of the delivery of enforcement actions
  • Supervise compliance regarding relevant Charging rules.
  • Establish, manage, and monitor reporting on undertakings, driving internal meetings to guarantee actions progress against agreed milestones.
  • Support the administration of all operations related to the external monitor and compile all necessary performance documentation.

  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in governance practices.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professional experience in a regulated industry (preferably in utilities or water sectors) is a significant advantage.
