Our client is a well-established, market-leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Due to continued investment and growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Reliability Engineer to join their engineering team at their Barnsley manufacturing site.

The RoleReporting into the Engineering leadership team, you will play a key role in maximising equipment uptime, improving asset reliability, and reducing unplanned downtime across a busy manufacturing operation.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing reliability and preventative maintenance strategies.
Analysing equipment performance data to identify reliability improvements.
Leading root cause analysis (RCA) investigations following equipment failures.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase plant efficiency and asset performance.
Supporting predictive maintenance programmes and condition monitoring activities.
Working closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve operational performance.
Monitoring maintenance KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Supporting equipment upgrades, capital projects, and new installations.
Promoting high standards of health, safety, and engineering best practice.
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in a Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar engineering position within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of preventative, predictive, and reliability-centred maintenance principles.
Experience carrying out root cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
An engineering qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
£53,770 basic salary
£5,400 annual car allowance
15% annual bonus
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
