Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 per annum (DOE)

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Remedial Plumber to join our growing team, carrying out remedial plumbing works identified through Legionella Risk Assessments across domestic and commercial properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber with experience in water hygiene and remedial works to develop their career within a specialist and expanding sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring water systems remain compliant with current regulations while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out remedial plumbing works identified within Legionella Risk Assessment reports.
- Modify, remove and install pipework to ensure compliance with current water hygiene regulations.
- Inspect, repair and replace cold water storage tanks and associated fittings.
- Install and maintain Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs), non-return valves and other control measures.
- Undertake dead-leg removals and water system reconfigurations.
- Complete all works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Accurately complete job sheets, compliance documentation and photographic records.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and internal teams.
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures and industry best practices at all times.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a Plumber carrying out remedial plumbing works.
- Experience working on cold water storage tanks and domestic/commercial water systems.
- Good understanding of water hygiene principles and Legionella control measures.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
Desirable
- Previous experience undertaking Legionella remedial works.
- Knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.
- Experience working within healthcare, education or commercial environments.
- Water Hygiene and/or Legionella training certifications.
