Passionate about customer service and resident engagement? Join Peabody's building safety programme as a Remediation Resident Engagement Officer. Work with residents, contractors and housing teams to deliver safe homes, regulatory compliance and an outstanding customer experience.

We're looking for a customer-focused professional to join our Resident Engagement and Compliance Team, supporting residents through fire remediation and building safety projects. Acting as the key point of contact throughout the remediation journey, you'll ensure residents feel informed, supported and listened to at every stage.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the main point of contact for residents and stakeholders throughout remediation projects.
  • Leading resident engagement and communication activities.
  • Managing enquiries, complaints and escalations, ensuring effective resolutions.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, leaseholders, contractors and internal teams.
  • Supporting compliance activities, including Leaseholder Deeds of Certificate, Landlord Certificates and EWS1-related processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports and performance data.
  • Working collaboratively with Home Ownership, Housing Management, Asset Management, Legal and Fire Safety teams.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve services and enhance the resident experience.

About you

You'll have experience in social housing, property management, leasehold services, compliance, resident engagement or a similar environment, alongside:

  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience handling complex enquiries or complaints.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.

Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Leaseholder Protection Regulations, EWS1 forms, or building safety and remediation projects would be advantageous.
