Remote Cruise Consultant

Platinum Travel Recruitment are now seeking an experienced and driven Cruise Consultant to join a fabulous travel company that offer a range of luxury cruises globally. 

This is an exciting role for a retail travel agent professional or a cruise sales consultant from a tour operator background seeking a rewarding career. 

Each day will not be the same, Cruise Consultant duties include:

• Providing expert sales and service support for cruise products to both travel agents and direct customers. 
• Handling new cruise reservations whilst offering a cutting edge customer service 
• Provide general and detailed advice on a wide range of cruise lines, itineraries, ships, cabin categories, and onboard experiences.
• Demonstrate strong worldwide and European cruise destination knowledge.
• Meet or exceed individual sales, revenue, and commission targets.
• Promote monthly offers, incentives, and campaigns to customers.
• Handling special requests and cruise add-ons.
• Adding travel extras to enhance experience. 
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cruise products and destinations.

Cruise Consultant – Essential Requirements:

• Experience in selling cruises from a tour operator or travel agency based in the UK is essential. 
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong customer service focus with a professional and confident manner.
• GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo is ideal.
