Collens Healthcare Ltd is seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Domiciliary Care Administrator Assistant to support our busy care operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration experience, preferably within health and social care, who enjoys working independently while remaining connected to a supportive team.

The role is primarily home-based, with a requirement to attend the office twice each month for team meetings, training, and operational reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administration of our domiciliary care services.
  • Monitor care management systems to ensure scheduled care visits are completed.
  • Assist with staff rota administration and scheduling adjustments.
  • Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and enquiries professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records for service users and care staff.
  • Input and update information on care management systems.
  • Support recruitment administration, including compliance checks and onboarding documentation.
  • Assist with DBS checks, right-to-work verification, and licence checks.
  • Produce reports and administrative documents as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safeguarding requirements, and data protection regulations. 

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable home working environment. 

Desirable

  • Experience within domiciliary care, healthcare, or social care.
  • Knowledge of care management or scheduling software.
  • Experience managing rotas and staff scheduling.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and compliance processes.
  • Qualification in Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
