Operations Manager – Overview

We are working with one of the largest and longest trading Heating, Electrical and Renewable Energy contractors in Bristol area, they are looking for an Operations Manager to join the team overseeing their installation and maintenance department. The company has been operating for over 40 years, installing and maintaining systems including Heating Systems, Heat Pumps, Solar PV Systems, Battery Storage, EV Chargers and general electrical work.

Under your leadership, you will manage a team consisting of 6 electricians and two approved electrical Sub Contractors, 8 x Heating Engineers, 2 x Technical Surveyors, 1 x MCS Coordinator and a back-office admin team of 3. You will oversee all day-to-day operations within the business, ensuring both installation and maintenance works are completed on time, on budget and to the highest quality.

This will be a varied role where you will deal with any day-to-day issues that may arise, be that with customers, suppliers of the team under your care, as well as contributing to the businesses expansion and success. They have recently won several new contracts for renewable energy installations in domestic properties and are pushing ahead with their expansion into renewables. You will be pivotal in the company’s success in contract delivery and will have a dedicated management structure working alongside you too.

Operations Manager – Requirements

• Previous experience at Operations Manager level
• Technical background in Electrical, Heating or Renewables
• Based locally to Bristol area

• Salary £50,000 - £60,000
