Renewables Site Supervisor

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a growing renewable energy business, working on ground-mounted solar PV projects.

The role will involve overseeing subcontractors and day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and monitor progress against project programmes.
• Carry out daily site inspections and ensure health & safety standards are maintained.
• Lead toolbox talks and maintain accurate site records.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure works meet project specifications.
• Identify and report any risks, delays or issues to the Project Manager.
• Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Assist with client visits, snagging and quality checks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years' experience in site supervision, ideally within renewables or solar PV.
• Experience managing subcontractors on construction sites.
• SMSTS and First Aid essential.
• IOSH/NEBOSH desirable.
• Good understanding of UK construction and H&S regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
