Your new role
As Responsive Repairs Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of a high-performing responsive repairs service, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.You will manage a team of supervisors, operatives and contractors, driving service performance while ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of responsive repairs.
- Leading and developing repairs teams to achieve operational and customer service targets.
- Monitoring performance against KPIs, service standards and budgets.
- Managing contractor performance and ensuring value for money.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
- Working closely with residents and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
- Identifying opportunities for service improvements and implementing best practice.
- Producing performance reports and using data to drive operational decision-making.
- Supporting the delivery of a customer-first culture across the service.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll be an experienced repairs professional with a proven track record of managing responsive maintenance services within social housing, property services or a related sector.
You will also have:
- Previous experience managing responsive repairs operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing direct labour teams and/or subcontractors.
- Sound knowledge of building maintenance and repair processes.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing budgets and driving value for money.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills.
- The ability to analyse performance data and implement improvements.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
