Location: Croydon - Hybrid working - 3 days office per week (Tuesday compulsory)
Hourly rate: £18.92 PAYE / £25.03 Umbrella
Contract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 36 hours

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Repairs Support Officer to join our Property Services team.
In this key role, you'll provide essential administrative support to the repairs and disrepair service, helping to ensure repairs are delivered efficiently, residents are kept informed, and customer enquiries are resolved quickly and effectively. You'll act as a central point of contact between residents, contractors, operational teams and internal departments, supporting the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services across our housing stock.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Repairs Operations Team.
- Manage and monitor outstanding repair work orders to ensure completion within agreed service levels.
- Liaise with contractors, residents and internal teams to resolve repair enquiries.
- Coordinate inspections and follow-up actions to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Support the monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyse data and identify service improvement opportunities.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints and service issues.
- Ensure contractors deliver value for money and maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records and systems in line with data protection requirements.
- Work collaboratively with tenancy, customer service and property teams to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
About You
Essential Experience
- Experience working within a responsive repairs, housing maintenance or social housing environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service or customer support role.
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers or external partners.
- Experience working as part of a busy team.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.

- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- A customer-first approach with a passion for delivering excellent service.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
