Shift: 4 on 4 off (10 hour shift between 6am-6pm)
Due to an increasing workload, we are recruiting for a resident forklift engineer – you will be working for a well-established, employee-focused forklift and material handling company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
- Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
- Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant
- Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections
- Accurately filling out service reports and job sheets
- Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule
- Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installed
What you’ll need:
- Experience as a Forklift engineer / Plant Fitter / Agricultural technician / HGV technician
- Proven experience of servicing, maintaining & repairing diesel engines
- Confident working with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic equipment
- Full UK driving licence
Your Package:
- basic salary of £34,000–£36,000 + 15% shift allowance
- OTE £39,100–£41,400 per annum including shift allowance
- OTE based on 1 hours overtime a shift: £(phone number removed) - £46,125
- Hours: 4 on 4 off (10 hour shift between 6am-6pm)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
