Basic Salary: £30,000 - £34,0000
OTE: £38,820 - £44,380
Daily onsite payment (£18-£22 per day)
15% shift allowance
3 week shift rotation
Van & Fuel card provided (personal use within reason)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Service and maintain a wide range of material handling, access equipment and powered access equipment.
- Carry out Thorough Examinations in line with relevant requirements.
- Identify parts required for repairs and liaise with the Parts Department to arrange them.
- Carry out fault diagnosis and determine the most appropriate repair or corrective action.
- Manage and prioritise your own workload and allocated jobs.
- Arrange suitable appointments with customers to minimise equipment downtime.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels on your service vehicle to support emergency repairs.
- Complete all work safely and in accordance with company method statements and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
What you’ll need:
- Experience as a Forklift engineer / plant fitter / powered access engineer preffered
- Proven experience of diesel engines
- Strong experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
- Cap Licence & Ipaf preffered (if you don’t have this, they will train you up!)
- Full UK driving licence
Week 1- Monday-Friday 06:00–14:30
Week 2 – Monday-Wednesday 07:00–16:30 Saturday&Sunday 07:00–13:00
Week 3 – Monday-Friday 14:30–23:00
