Salary: Up to £34,000 + Package

We are currently working with a leading contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join their team, working across North and South London on a programme of Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) works within occupied social housing properties.

The Role

As the Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key point of contact between residents, the client and site teams, ensuring residents are kept fully informed and supported throughout the works programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout the FRA works programme.

     

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, clients and site teams.

     

  • Carrying out pre-start visits, resident consultations and pre-condition surveys.

     

  • Keeping residents informed of planned works, timescales and any changes to the programme.

     

  • Coordinating access arrangements with residents, contractors and site teams.

     

  • Managing resident queries, concerns and complaints in a professional and customer-focused manner.

     

  • Carrying out regular resident and site visits throughout the works.

     

  • Supporting residents who may be vulnerable or require additional assistance.

     

  • Liaising closely with site teams and contractors to ensure works are delivered smoothly and with minimal disruption.

     

  • Conducting resident satisfaction surveys and maintaining accurate records.

     

  • Attending resident meetings and providing updates on the progress of works.

     

  • Supporting the successful delivery of FRA works across occupied properties.

     

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within Social Housing, Planned Maintenance or Construction.

     

  • Experience working on FRA / fire safety works is highly desirable.

     

  • Strong understanding of working within occupied residential properties.

     

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

     

  • Experience dealing with resident queries and complaints.

     

  • Strong organisational and administration skills.

     

  • A proactive, approachable and professional attitude.

     

  • Ability to work effectively with residents, contractors, site teams and clients.

     

  • Full UK Driving Licence is desirable.
