Resident Support Worker

We're currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Resident Support Workers to join a dedicated supported housing service that provides accommodation and tailored support to adults experiencing homelessness and those with complex needs.

The RoleAs a Resident Support Worker, you will work within a residential setting, supporting residents on a day-to-day basis while promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centred support to residents.
- Encouraging independent living skills and personal development.
- Supporting residents with daily living tasks where required.
- Building positive, professional relationships.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports.
- Promoting a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
Pay: £15.00 per hour + £50.00 Sleep-in Allowance
Shift Pattern- 9:00am - 3:00pm
- 12:00pm - 7:00pm
- 7:00pm - 12:00am plus sleep-in
- Experience working within homelessness, supported housing, mental health or complex needs services is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, resilient and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work a rota including evenings and sleep-ins.
