An opportunity has arisen for an organised and experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to support a Partner within a busy Residential Property team.

The successful candidate will assist with a varied caseload covering freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity. The role combines legal and administrative support, client communication, file management and post-completion work.

This would suit a proactive paralegal with previous residential conveyancing experience who is confident managing competing priorities and providing high-quality support in a busy, client-focused environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Partner with a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
  • Assisting with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
  • Opening, maintaining and closing client files.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors and lenders.
  • Preparing and assisting with contracts, leases and completion statements.
  • Assisting with Land Registry applications and title searches.
  • Supporting post-completion matters.
  • Managing electronic and physical filing in line with firm procedures.
  • Arranging appointments, meetings and diary commitments.
  • Dealing with client enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
  • Assisting with general case administration and preparation of legal documents.
  • Audio and copy typing using digital dictation where required.
  • Ensuring files and case management systems are kept accurate and up to date.


About You

  • Previous experience working within a law firm is essential.
  • Strong residential conveyancing experience.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good client care and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using legal case management systems.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong typing and document management skills.
  • Good level of numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks.
  • Professional and flexible approach to supporting a busy team.
