Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: Sheffield City Centre

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm

About the Role

As a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, you will assist fee earners with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions, helping to ensure matters progress efficiently and clients receive an excellent standard of service throughout the transaction process.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Managing and progressing transactions under appropriate supervision
  • Dealing with client enquiries and providing regular updates on case progress
  • Taking client instructions and accurately recording information
  • Preparing correspondence, legal documents, forms, and reports
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, financial advisers, and solicitors
  • Facilitating the exchange of contracts and completion processes
  • Preparing financial statements and completion documentation
  • Completing SDLT submissions and associated conveyancing formalities
  • Preparing Certificates of Title for mortgage advance funds
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements


About You

  • A minimum of one year's experience in a residential conveyancing or similar legal support role
  • A good understanding of residential conveyancing procedures and transactions
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A professional and proactive approach to client care
  • The confidence to build effective working relationships with clients and third parties
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
