We are recruiting on behalf of a leading retailer in York and are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join their successful team.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
✅Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of store presentation.
- Operating tills and handling transactions accurately.
- Supporting the wider team to achieve store targets and objectives.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
- Previous experience within a customer service or retail environment (preferred but not essential).
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
