Our client, one of the most respected employers in the North West, is looking to recruit an experienced Used Car Retail Sales Manager to lead their successful used car sales operation at their prestigious dealership in the Preston area.

The Role
As Used Car Retail Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the used car sales team, maximising vehicle sales, and ensuring every customer enjoys a first-class buying journey. Working closely with the senior management team, you will inspire, coach and develop your team while driving profitability across the used car department.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing used car sales team.
Drive used vehicle sales while maximising finance, insurance and ancillary product opportunities.
Ensure the team consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience.
Monitor sales performance, KPIs and departmental profitability.
Support and coach the team through the full sales process.
Work closely with the vehicle preparation and stock teams to ensure vehicles are retail-ready.
Maintain excellent relationships with finance partners and internal departments.
Ensure all paperwork, compliance and documentation are completed accurately.
Keep up to date with market trends, used vehicle pricing and manufacturer standards.
Promote a positive, professional and customer-focused culture throughout the dealership.

About You
Previous experience as a Used Car Retail Sales Manager within a franchised main dealership is essential.
A proven track record of delivering strong used vehicle sales performance.
A natural leader with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire a successful team.
Commercially driven with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, ambitious and committed to achieving results.
Full UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary: £38,000
Realistic OTE: £65,000 - £75,000
Alternate Saturdays.
Every Sunday off.
A day off during the week when working a Saturday.
