Retrofit Coordinator / Technical Advisor

We are working with a leading contractor within the social housing and property services sector who is looking to appoint an experienced Retrofit Coordinator / Technical Advisor to join their growing retrofit team.

The role will be based from the company’s Hertfordshire office, with approximately half of the working week involving travel to live projects across London, the South East and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator looking to take on a technically focused position, providing Retrofit Coordination, quality assurance and compliance support across a portfolio of live retrofit and energy efficiency projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering in-house Retrofit Coordination across live projects, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with PAS 2035 and relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Retrofit Coordination across multiple live projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with PAS 2035, PAS 2030, MCS requirements and Building Regulations.
  • Carrying out detailed QA reviews of Retrofit Assessments, Retrofit Designs and Retrofit Coordination documentation.
  • Reviewing project data, technical documentation and audit trails to ensure projects remain compliant and audit-ready.
  • Working closely with project managers, technical teams, designers and contractors to integrate retrofit measures into live construction programmes.
  • Identifying and resolving technical and compliance issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting Retrofit Assessments on selected projects and recommending appropriate energy-efficiency measures.
  • Supporting pre- and post-retrofit evaluations to assess the performance of installed measures.
  • Attending project reviews and technical meetings and providing advice on retrofit solutions and risk mitigation.
  • Liaising with external auditors, industry bodies and other stakeholders.
  • Keeping up to date with changes to retrofit standards, funding schemes, legislation and emerging technologies.

About You

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator qualification.
  • Previous experience acting as the Retrofit Coordinator on live projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 and PAS 2030.
  • Understanding of MCS compliance, Building Regulations and relevant retrofit standards.
  • Full UK Driving License
