Our client is a leading global banking group headquartered in London, with a strongprescence across theEMEA region. Based in the City area of London.
Description
- Own and maintain monthly revenue and profit reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and control.
- Deliver financial and management reporting outputs, including performance analysis and senior management reporting.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues, providing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Treasury and Front Office teams to provide guidance on revenue recognition, transaction booking and reporting treatment.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting enhancements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Support governance activities, maintain documentation and help ensure robust reporting and control frameworks are in place.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be / have:
- Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience gained within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of management reporting, financial accounting and investment banking products.
- Experience investigating reconciliations, revenue reporting and working with complex financial data.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong knowledge of Excel and other data tools.
- Familiarity with accounting standards and the ability to assess the impact of technical accounting requirements.
- Proactive, solutions-focused communicator who can influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
