What your day looks like:

  • Operate CFA and rotary piling rigs safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out pre-start inspections and daily maintenance checks on piling equipment.
  • Install CFA, rotary bored, and other pile types in accordance with engineering specifications and project requirements.
  • Ensure piling operations comply with company procedures, project method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Work closely with banksmen, slinger/signallers, concrete operatives, and site engineers.
  • Report defects, breakdowns, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Assist with rig mobilisation, demobilisation, and site setup activities.
  • Ensure all work areas are maintained in a safe, tidy, and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Support other site activities as required to ensure project targets are achieved.

 

What we need from you:

  • CPCS or NPORS Piling Rig Operator qualification.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proven experience operating CFA piling rigs and rotary piling rigs.
  • Experience working on construction, civil engineering, or ground engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of piling techniques, drilling methods, and ground conditions.
  • Experience working around lifting operations and heavy plant.
  • Strong understanding of piling operations and foundation construction.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and site documentation.
