Road Import Groupage

A rapidly expanding UK & International freight forwarding organisation is looking for an Import road Freight Groupage Operator / Clerk to join their expanding road freight groupage team. The client is looking for a minimum of 2 years road freight experience, import and groupage experience.

ROLE: Import road freight Operator

LOCATION: Essex

BASIC SALARY: £30k to £35k

BENEFITS: Pension 

ROLE: · Handling European Import road freight groupage services.

· Arranging movement of import road freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.

· Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.

Experience required:

· Must have a good understanding of European Import Groupage road freight, at least 2 years’ experience.

· Capable of manually calculating costs and charges.

· Understanding of taxable kilos.

· Good customer service skills.

· Experience with Customs paperwork.

· Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
