Roofer - Durham in Stanley, County Durham

Looking for a long-term roofing opportunity with a well-established local authority?

We are currently looking for an experienced Roofer to join a busy team working across the Durham area. This is an ongoing temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

You'll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across domestic properties, helping to keep homes safe, secure and in great condition.

What's on offer?

* £20.00 per hour - Umbrella
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
* 37 hours per week
* Ongoing work for the foreseeable future
* Temp to perm opportunity
* Work across the Durham area

What will you be doing?

You'll be working on a variety of domestic roofing and maintenance jobs, including:

* Planned and reactive maintenance
* Laying felt and replacing roof tiles
* Flat and pitched roof repairs
* Part rendering of walls and chimneys
* Brickwork repairs
* Cladding
* Replacing loft insulation
* General roofing and property maintenance

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Roofer who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working across occupied domestic properties.

You will need:

* To be time served or hold a relevant trade qualification
* Previous experience working on social housing or council properties
* Good knowledge of roofing and general property maintenance
* A professional and reliable approach
* A full UK Driving Licence
