A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Roofer to join a housing provider on a temp-to-perm basis, carrying out planned and reactive repairs across East London and surrounding boroughs.
Working within occupied and void social housing properties, you'll be responsible for roof inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs to pitched and flat roofing systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Pay:

• £22.00 per hour (Umbrella) - Temporary
• £38,000 per annum - Permanent

Key Duties:

• Planned and reactive roofing repairs
• Roof inspections and fault finding
• Repairs to tiles, slates, felt, leadwork, and flashing
• Maintaining weatherproof and watertight roofs
• Using PDA/mobile devices to manage jobs
• Providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Proven roofing experience, ideally within social housing
• Knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems
• Ability to work safely at height
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong communication skills
