Roofing & Scaffolding Manager

We are looking for a Roofing & Scaffolding Manager with a solid background in roofing and roof repairs.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked as a roofer or in the roofing industry, with a good understanding of roofs, common defects, repair methods and scaffolding.

This is a management and coordination role, not a hands-on position.

You will be responsible for:

• Surveying roofs and identifying problems.
• Recommending the correct repairs and solutions.
• Preparing reports and quotations.
• Managing roofing and scaffolding subcontractors.
• Coordinating works from start to finish.
• Carrying out post-work inspections.
• Meeting clients and surveyors on site and answering technical questions.
• Making decisions and dealing with issues as they arise.
• Maintaining a good network of reliable subcontractors.

We need someone who can look at a roof, understand the problem and know what needs to be done, based on real previous roofing experience.

Having an established and extensive network of roofing, scaffolding and construction contacts/subcontractors would be a strong advantage.

You must be confident, organised, able to make decisions and comfortable dealing with clients, surveyors and contractors.
