Are you a Route Engineer with a Marine Geoscience, Geology, Oceanography or similar degree, looking to join a global engineering business working on major international projects?

On offer is the opportunity to join a world-leading company, where you'll work on technically interesting subsea cable projects.

With over 170 years of history, this internationally recognised company specialises in subsea fibre optic cable installation, maintenance and emergency repair. They continue to invest in new projects, cutting-edge technology and the development of their people.

In this role, you'll design submarine cable routes using GIS and marine survey data, carrying out desktop studies, analysing seabed and environmental conditions, producing technical reports and supporting projects from planning through to installation. You'll also have the opportunity to travel internationally 2-3 times per year.

This role would suit a Route Engineer or Geoscience graduate, with relevant experience looking for a varied role with excellent training.

THE ROLE:
*Design submarine cable routes using GIS and marine survey data
*Produce desktop studies, technical reports and route designs
*Support multiple international projects from planning to delivery
*Hybrid working with occasional international travel

THE PERSON:
*Route Engineering
*GIS experience
*Degree in Marine Geoscience, Geology, Oceanography or similar
*Strong report writing skills and Full UK Driving Licence
