This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the start of their HR or people career who wants a hands-on role with real variety and genuine impact from day one.
You’ll be joining the Resourcing, People & Organisational Culture (RPO) team — a close-knit group whose purpose is to attract, develop, motivate, and retain the talented people who make Adelphi Real World what it is. Your focus will be on supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, primarily across junior and graduate-level roles, working closely with hiring managers and the wider People team.
This isn’t a sales role. There’s no cold calling, no targets, no agency pressure. It’s about doing recruitment properly — thoughtfully, people-first, and with real attention to candidate experience.
What you’ll do
- Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process — from briefing through to offer and onboarding coordination
- Sourcing candidates proactively via job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Conducting pre-screening calls and telephone interviews
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews — both Teams and face-to-face
- Providing timely, professional feedback to candidates at every stage
- Building strong relationships with internal hiring managers across the business
- Managing multiple live roles simultaneously, keeping everyone informed
- Screening candidates for right-to-work and visa requirements
- Supporting ad hoc people and culture initiatives within the RPO team
What you’ll need
- Some experience in recruitment, HR, administration, or a people-facing role — in-house, agency, or otherwise
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing the detail
- Confident written and verbal communication — you’re comfortable talking to people at all levels
- A proactive, self-motivated approach — you take initiative rather than waiting to be told
- Comfort using job boards and LinkedIn as sourcing tools
- A genuine interest in people, culture, and doing recruitment the right way
