Irwin and Colton are seeking a dedicated Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor to support waste management and disposal operations in Dartford. This is a vital role for promoting safety and environmental excellence in a sector focused on waste processing and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and environmental assessments aligned with waste management protocols.
  • Support incident investigations related to waste operations and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote health and safety awareness specific to waste processing facilities through toolbox talks and training.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SHEQ documentation, procedures, and compliance records for waste projects.
  • Ensure waste management activities adhere to environmental legislation and best practices.

Ideal Candidate:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, ideally with knowledge of waste industry standards.
  • Experience in waste management, recycling, or related environmental sectors.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence compliance culture.
