Sales Account Manager Location: Blackpool, Lancashire
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 + performance bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday
Axon Moore is representing an established and growing business within the food sector in the Blackpool area, who are looking to appoint a Sales Account Manager.
Are you an experienced sales or account management professional looking for your next opportunity within the food industry?
This is a great opportunity to join a successful business where you’ll be responsible for developing customer relationships, growing existing accounts and identifying new commercial opportunities.
The Role As Sales Account Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of existing customers while also identifying opportunities to develop new business.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales and profitability
  • Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Making outbound calls and handling incoming customer enquiries
  • Identifying and developing new sales opportunities
  • Re-engaging inactive and prospective customers
  • Understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable solutions
  • Managing customer contact and call schedules
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • Using sales reports and information to identify trends and opportunities
  • Supporting promotional and commercial activity
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing general administration as required
About You We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded and confident sales professional who enjoys building relationships and developing business.
Ideally, you will have:
  • Previous account management experience
  • Previous telesales or telephone-based sales experience
  • Experience within sales or customer service
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive and commercially focused approach
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with customer information and sales data
  • Previous experience within the food sector would be advantageous
