The Company

Our client is a well-established company supplying branded products to businesses across the UK. They have built an excellent reputation for quality and service and continue to grow, working with a wide range of clients.

They are now looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join their team.

The Role

This is a varied role that combines sales administration, customer service and basic accounts. You will be looking after existing customer accounts, processing orders, completing general administration and assisting with the day-to-day accounts function using Sage.

You’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships with customers and, where appropriate, visit clients. There is also the potential to earn commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts.
  • Processing customer enquiries, quotations and sales orders.
  • Speaking with customers over the phone and providing excellent customer service.
  • Using the company CRM system to manage customer information and orders.
  • Raising sales invoices.
  • Processing purchase invoices.
  • Assisting with general accounts administration using Sage.
  • Maintaining accurate customer and sales records.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Visiting clients when opportunities arise.
  • Supporting the wider office team with general administration.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Administrator, Office Administrator or Customer Service role.
  • Basic accounts experience, including purchase and sales invoicing.
  • Experience using Sage or similar accounting software.
  • Experience using a CRM system.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A positive, flexible and team-oriented approach.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary & Benefits

  • £27,000 – £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.
