The Sales Administrator performs both the sales function and the finance function by managing customer accounts, processing sales documentation, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role blends administrative precision with commercial awareness.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Retain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the products and applications and train others in product awareness

· Record accurate information on relevant systems, adhering to company policy, procedures and Regulatory requirements

· Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s Health & Safety in the workplace and co-operate with Statutory, Regulatory and Company requirements

· Any other duties that may be considered ‘reasonable’ by Formseal Limited

Specific

· Primary responsibility for incoming calls and provide sales/customer service as nec-essary. Meet & Greet visitors and determine needs / collections / enquiries / trade and public enquiries as necessary.

· Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with potential and existing customers offering advice, pricing and availability, identifying opportunities with new or existing customers to achieve overall sales objective.

· Sales Order Processing – Manage quotations, sales orders, purchase orders and customer documentation from initial enquiry to final invoicing. Produce accurate records including producing Quotations and Sales Orders and maintain accurate records including customer, supplier, pricing and inventory data both electronically and hard copies as appropriate

· Co-ordinate and manage the ‘Customer process’ to ensure company obligations are met daily to deliver goods on time and in full (OTIF)

· Customer account management: Maintain accurate customer records, credit limits, pricing agreements and communication logs.

Good I.T skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages and data collection.

Flexibility and Adaptability to changing workloads, uses own initiative to seek opportunities during quiet times and willingness to support colleagues when needed.
