Sales Administrator / Coordinator

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £27,000 to £35,000
Job Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-time, office based

FC Engineering Recruitment is working with an established business in Watford who are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator / Coordinator to join their team.

This is a varied role supporting the sales function and helping to ensure customers, orders and internal processes are managed efficiently.

The successful candidate will be organised, customer-focused and comfortable working in a busy environment where attention to detail is important.

As a Sales Administrator / Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing administrative support to the sales team
• Processing and managing customer orders
• Preparing quotations and sales documentation
• Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
• Liaising with customers regarding orders, deliveries and requirements
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
• Coordinating with internal departments to ensure orders are progressed effectively
• Monitoring order progress and keeping customers updated
• Assisting with invoicing and other sales administration
• Maintaining customer information and documentation
• Supporting the sales team with general administrative tasks
• Helping to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in sales administration, sales coordination, customer service or a similar administrative role
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Confidence communicating with customers and internal teams
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience using CRM or business management systems would be advantageous
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• A proactive and professional approach
