Sales Designer – Fitted Wardrobes
Location: Berkhamsted
Salary: £36,000 basic + commission
OTE: £50,000–£60,000+

Our client is a specialist fitted furniture business based in Berkhamsted, and due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Sales Designer to join their team.

This is a customer-facing role where you will be responsible for meeting customers, understanding their requirements and designing bespoke fitted wardrobe solutions to suit their needs, space and budget.

The role:

• Meet with customers and understand their requirements
• Design and present bespoke fitted wardrobe solutions
• Manage the customer journey from initial consultation through to sale
• Build strong relationships with customers and maximise sales opportunities
• Work towards an initial monthly sales target of £30,000
• Once fully trained, work towards monthly sales of £50,000–£60,000
• Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the process

Package:

• £36,000 basic salary
• 2% commission on net sales up to £30,000 per month
• 5% commission on net sales above £30,000 per month
• Realistic OTE of £50,000–£60,000+
• Five-day working week
• Two Saturdays per month, with a day off in lieu for each Saturday worked
• Full training and support provided

About you:

We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales, ideally within fitted furniture, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, interiors or another consultative sales environment.

You will need to be confident dealing with customers face-to-face, comfortable working towards sales targets and able to understand a customer's requirements before translating them into a suitable solution.
