Sales Administrator in Chelmsley Wood, Solihull

A well-established business, this successful company has exciting plans for continued growth and is now looking to strengthen its sales team with an experienced Sales Administrator.
This is a key role within the team, providing high-level sales and administrative support to the Sales team. You'll need a great eye for detail, strong organisational skills and a real passion for getting things right, while helping to ensure the sales function runs smoothly and efficiently.

Sales Administrator Responsibilities:

• Manage customer enquiries, prepare quotations and present suitable options.
• Prepare and submit proposals, following applications through to completion.
• Provide day-to-day support to the sales team, helping opportunities progress smoothly.
• Build strong relationships with customers, business partners and external contacts.
• Handle queries professionally and keep all parties updated throughout the sales process.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure internal systems are kept fully up to date.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

Sales Administrator Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in sales administration, sales support or a similar customer-focused role.
• Confident communicator with excellent telephone and email skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercially minded, with a positive attitude and strong sales focus.
• Able to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues and external contacts.
• Proactive team player who can use their own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
• Experience within a regulated environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
