We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing distributor within the flooring and interiors sector. They are looking for a motivated, personable, and customer-focused individual to join their successful team.

The Role
- Be the first point of contact for customers via the trade counter, telephone, and email
- Process customer orders and prepare quotations
- Provide product advice and recommend suitable solutions
- Develop strong relationships with existing trade customers
- Identify opportunities to upsell and maximise sales
- Keep customers updated on deliveries, stock availability, and order progress
- Ensure the trade counter remains professional, organised, and welcoming
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Previous experience within trade sales, trade counter, retail sales, builders' merchants, and electrical wholesale.
- A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships
- A proactive and positive attitude with a genuine desire to help customers
- Comfortable using IT systems, including email and Microsoft Office
- Sales experience would be advantageous, although full product training will be provided
- Someone who wants to learn, develop, and progress within the business
- £27,000 - £30,000 salary
- Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends
