Sales Consultant in Halifax, Calderdale

Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a client to recruit a Sales Consultant to join their team in Halifax.

We are looking for a confident, personable and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and converting enquiries into sales.

This is a varied, customer-facing role combining showroom sales, internal sales and telephone-based selling. We are open to candidates from either a B2C or B2B sales background.

The Role

• Welcoming and greeting customers visiting the showroom.
• Understanding customer requirements and discussing suitable products and solutions.
• Managing incoming enquiries and following up on potential sales opportunities.
• Making outbound calls to generate interest and convert leads.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Preparing quotations and progressing orders through the sales process.
• Supporting the wider sales team and contributing towards sales targets.
• Delivering an excellent customer experience from initial enquiry through to completion.

About You

• Previous sales experience, either B2C or B2B.
• Confident communicating face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Comfortable handling incoming enquiries and making outbound sales calls.
• A natural relationship builder with a proactive approach.
• Commercially driven, motivated and target focused.
• Showroom, retail, trade or home improvement sales experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

• £35,000–£38,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
