Join One of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work
At innergy, we're proud to be a Yorkshire business with big ambitions and an even bigger focus on our people.
Recognised as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, we've built a culture where people feel supported, valued and given the opportunity to grow. We believe work should be enjoyable, rewarding and somewhere you can build a long-term career, not just have a job.
We're a friendly, down-to-earth team who genuinely enjoy working together. Whether it's celebrating success, supporting each other through busy periods, getting involved in team socials or helping colleagues develop their careers, people are at the heart of everything we do.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who shares our values and wants to be part of the journey.
About the Role
This is a varied and fast-paced role that sits at the heart of our customer and sales operation.
You'll be one of the first points of contact for customers, handling enquiries, supporting existing accounts and helping ensure our customers receive the excellent service we're known for.
No two days are quite the same. One minute you'll be helping a new customer join us, the next you'll be supporting key accounts, resolving a query or working alongside colleagues across the business to deliver a great customer experience.
You'll be supported by an experienced management team who are invested in your success and development from day one.

- Handle all new domestic LPG, beer gas and industrial gas enquiries
- Respond to pricing queries from existing customers
- Process additional cylinder requests and maintain customer records

Development & Career Opportunities
We believe in investing in our people.
This role offers the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the LPG, industrial gas and beer gas sectors while building valuable commercial, customer service and account management skills.
You'll receive ongoing support, mentoring and coaching from experienced colleagues and managers. For the right person, there are genuine opportunities to take on additional responsibility and develop a long-term career within innergy.
Many of our team members have progressed into more senior roles, and we're always keen to support people who want to grow.
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in whether you've worked in our industry before and more interested in the sort of person you are.
You'll likely be:
- Friendly, positive and approachable
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- A confident communicator both on the phone and by email
- Someone who enjoys solving problems and helping customers
- A team player who likes working closely with colleagues
- Keen to learn, develop and take ownership of your work
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support or administration would be beneficial, but attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
